I’m a doctor by training. I came to the USA in 2005 with medical education, but practically no knowledge of English. I had to start from the very beginning: I worked in the medical office on the specialty Medical Assistant and studied at the Concord Rusam school in parallel, which enabled me to pass the exam and get a registered nurse license. I work in the hospital, in the maternity department for 8 years, very satisfied. I plan to study further and apply for the Nurse Practitioner program.

I came in US in 2007 in August and came to Concord Rusam in September – my friend advised. It was the best advice in my life! Soon I passed exam and started to work as visiting nurse at home health agency. In two years I moved in North Caroline and found a good RN position in hospital where I am still working.
